What is ECL?
The ECL language certificate stands for "European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages". This is a language certificate recognized throughout Europe, which certifies a person's skills and knowledge in a given foreign language.The ECL certificate is available in several European languages and is offered by universities and language institutes in different countries. It assesses the four main areas of competence in a language: written comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and oral expression.The ECL certificate is recognized by employers, educational institutions and authorities as proof of language skills and can be an asset in job applications or education matters.
